    (1) The composition ratio of soybean protein in soybean protein fiber is too low to achieve the expected performance, but increasing its ratio will affect its mechanical properties;

    (2) Mechanical properties need to be improved;

    (3) Fabric pilling still needs improvement, which is an important factor restricting the further marketization of soybean protein fiber;

    (4) The elimination of primary colors and light stability need to be improved;

    (5) Poor thermal stability, which is a problem that needs to be solved urgently during the post-processing and consumption of soybean protein fiber;

    (6) The characterization and understanding of soybean protein fiber needs to be strengthened.
